This week in class we have been making the final benches required for the outdoor learning environment. Fourteen benches were need to be made, and we made about eight this week. As usual we routed the edges of the "A" braces for the benches. Now the final stage will begin for most of the benches, which is applying the wood finish. After this all of the benches will be completed and the we will be one step closer to finally completing all of the outdoor seating.

Week 16 - Making Benches
This week in class we have started to produce benches for the outdoor learning environment. The benches use an A shapes brace to secure the bottom of the bench. We also had to use the wood router to round the edges of the braces. The main issue with making these is aligning the braces properly, which can pose a challenge. Once these tables and benches are produced a good chunk of the work will already be done.
Week 15 - Transitiong From Tables To Benches
This week in class we continued to make more tables, but the transition is beginning to go from tables to benches. The tables are being produced at a fast pace, and staining the tables has also began. Before staining can begin the tables must be sanded, and much of the wood has mold marks. These mold marks must be sanded down to reduce their presence. So now the tables and benches are being made simultaneously.
