This week in Max I've been using the loft tool quite a bit. The tools main purpose for me is to create piping and latches. The premise behind the tool allows for an animator to easily create odd shapes or even simple ones. Once a shape is made, the edit poly modifier can be used to manipulate the vertexes of the shape to get the desired shape.

Week 7 - Fracture Script
This week in Max I've been working on my tank, but on top of that I've been planning for the scene that the tank will occupy. The general plan is to model a water fountain and have the tank roll over the fountain. In order to have the water fountain break on impact I've setup a fracture script in max. the script breaks objects into sections that will break upon impact.

Week 6 - Tank Work Continues Again
This week in Max I've been continuing work on the Tiger tank, I've finished the main body shape. It was a simple box with edit poly modifier. I also put four target lights in the scene to achieve better render quality. Eventually I would like to add in a fracture script to have the tank roll over a brick wall, and have it destroy it.

Week 5 - Tank Work
This week in Max I have been working on my Tiger tank and continue to add detail. I've used the loft tool and boolean in order to make some of the required small objects. I also made a shovel for the front of the tank so that the front does not look too plain. I've also added in some target lights to get better render quality.
