Week 14 - A Boat

This week in max I downloaded a file of a high poly boat from Turbo Squid and attempted to render it. After many crashes and failed attempts, I was finally able to render one image. This demonstrates the use of rendering to obtain interesting water, and wood effects.

Week 13 - Modeling Faces

This week in Max I've worked on modeling a face that would go with my plague mask. Once again I have used planes modeling to create this face, and also turbo smooth. Ask for texturing I am still unsure on how to approach such a task. The next step would be importing the two files with each other.

Week 12 - Browsing Ideas

This week in Max, I've been continuing to contemplate ideas for my next Max project. After many days of thought, I've finally come up with an idea that is possible, but challenging. I would like to create a scene that mimics a screen shot of a microscopic organism. The main challenge with this would be using mental ray rendering to achieve the desired effect of the scene.

Week - 11 Moving Up

This week I've been working on a simple model of a lizard creature. This is just continuing the basic practicing of planes modeling technique. The main issue with the model has been modeling the head of the lizard, which has proven to be a challenge. Overall I am pleased with the results so far, and might continue to work on it.
